OAE Test
Otoacoustic Emissions - Objective measure of inner ear function
What is OAE Test?
Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) is a quick, non-invasive test that measures sound waves produced by the inner ear (cochlea) in response to clicks or tones. It's an excellent screening tool for detecting cochlear hearing loss, especially in newborns.
